NH Made Criteria

 for Businesses to Qualify for Membership

The following questions are used as guidelines in determining whether or not a business qualifies to be a member of New Hampshire Made. If any of these criteria are questionable for a particular business, the "Membership Criteria" committee will evaluate the information and arrive at a decision. NOTE: If you sign-up on line, we will not charge your credit card until you have been approved.

1)    Is the company registered as a business in New Hampshire?

2)    Is a NH address used on letterhead, business cards, product labeling, etc.?

3)    Does the business have a NH phone number as it's main number?

4)    Does the business web site show a NH address with NH-based contact information?

5)    Does the owner of the business primarily live in New Hampshire?

6)    Is the "main office" for a multi-office business based in New Hampshire?

7)    Does the business owner "own" the rights to the product, service, recipe, etc.?

8)    Do the company use outside materials and services because they are not available in NH? (Have they used NH  products, materials, labor or intellectual input whenever and wherever possible?)

9)    Does the company want to use the NH's Own logo only on products or services that are produced or originated in NH, or are significantly altered in NH in put of labor, process or intellectual content?"

10)    Where does the company file state and federal taxes?
